Vijay Govindarajan is a famous Indian Coxe Distinguished Professor. He was born on 18 November 1949 in Chennai, India. He is best known as VG for his work in General Electric’s Innovation consultant, three-box solution, and reverse innovation. The name of his wife is Kirthi (m. 1980), and a father of two children.
He started his early education in his hometown and completed his charted accountancy (CA) degree in 1974, & M.B.A from Harvard Business School in 1976. He was also awarded the President’s Gold Medal by the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). He is also awarded the Robert Bowne Prize at Harvard Business School for best Thesis Proposal.
